Dr May received 9 years of orthodox education and apprenticeship in TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) to Bachelor’s, Master’s and Associated Doctorate’s degree standard.

She had practiced, lectured and supervised in acupuncture and the prescription of herbal remedies in a top ranked hospital in China for 13 years while achieved the position as ward chief doctor and associated professor before she came to the UK in 2003.

She has continued to practice alternative medicine in the UK for almost 20 years. She also worked as a clinical tutor for Salford University apart from being a senior TCM consultant in  her earlier career in the UK.

As an acupuncture specialist, she has accumulated rich experience and unique academic insights being  capable of offering some special acupuncture including lintel acupuncture, meridian flow acupuncture( also known as timing acupuncture) and facial cosmetic acupuncture all of which are regarded as specialised acupuncture technics and can significantly enhance the effectiveness of treatment on certain illness.

Among the most commonly treated  areas are neuralgia, muscular-skeletal diseases, immunity system deficiencies, hormonal imbalances including infertility related problems.
