I was educated at Heilongjiang Province Medical College in Harbin, China and graduated with a Bachelor degree in western medicine. I started my professional career over 30 years ago in 1984 when I was appointed as a consultant at the primary TCM hospital. Since 1992 I started studying traditional Chinese medicine in Heilongjiang Province Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine to integrate a practical training course to learn acupuncture. I have successfully integrated and completed 3 training courses; twice in the Heilongjiang Provincial College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and once in the Provincial Zu Yan hospital, all to study acupuncture and moxibustion. I have since shifted from western medicine to TCM. I am now practicing as a TCM consultant at my own TCM clinic in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
