Mairead graduated from the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland and gained further clinical experience working in a hospital in Nanjing, China.

Having trained as a nurse, midwife and shiatsu practitioner, health and wellbeing have always been central to her professional practice.

Many years as a midwife and latterly as an independent midwife have given her vast experience in pre-conceptual, pregnancy and postnatal care, but her practice is by no means limited to childbirth; she relishes the challenge of every single medical condition, particularly when western medicine has failed to help.
