Mairead graduated from the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland and gained further clinical experience working in a hospital in Nanjing, China.

Having trained as a Nurse, Midwife and Shiatsu Practitioner, health and wellbeing have always been central to her professional practice.

Many years as a Midwife and latterly as an Independent Midwife have given her vast experience in pre-conceptual, pregnancy, birth and postnatal care,

but her Acupuncture practice is by no means limited to childbirth; she relishes the challenge of every medical condition, particularly when western medicine has failed to help.
