Mrs Christy Ka Yee Wong has around 20 years experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specialising in moxibustion. She began an apprenticeship, as is normal in China & Hong Kong, as a therapist working under Dr Cheung as her “Master” in Hong Kong from the age of 15 to 19.  Christy then progressed to do a 5 year Bachelor’s degree in General Practice at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine.  After obtaining her first degree, Christy went on to complete a 3 year Master’s degree in Chinese medicine, where she also specialised in Acupuncture and Gynecology, at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

Christy is highly experienced in moxibustion treatment for a very wide variety of illnesses, ranging from auto-immune conditions (such as rheumatoid arthritis & lupus), sports and physical injuries (such as trigger finger, sciatica, neck stiffness and other joint problems), gynecological conditions (such as premenstrual syndrome and infertility), neurological conditions (such as trigeminal neuralgia) to other common conditions, from tinnitus, chronic fatigue syndrome and insomnia, to even more specialised fields like cancer support treatments
