I am a fully qualified and insured acupuncturist and massage therapist. I graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine in 2010 with a 1st class (Hons) degree in acupuncture, which included the study of anatomy, physiology and pathology, enabling me to understand a wide range of Western medical conditions and how they can be treated with acupuncture. I am also the founder of Brighton Community Acupuncture and Stroud Community Acupuncture. I have a diploma in therapeutic massage, I have trained in hot stones massage, structural fascial bodywork, shiatsu, and tui na (Chinese bodywork).

Since 2011 I have been doing ongoing post graduate training with Andrew Nugent-Head (www.traditionalstudies.org). This has enabled me to refine and deepen my understanding of acupuncture and Chinese bodywork, especially in relation to pain and its associated pathologies. As well as using acupuncture and Chinese bodywork I integrate the use of hot stones massage into my treatments. Using these three modalities, each treatment I give is uniquely tailored to the person being treated, depending on their age, gender, the strength of the constitution, and how they are feeling on the day. This focus of determining what your specific needs are within each treatment and having the skills to meet those needs is what makes my treatments so successful.

I am environmentally and socially conscious and consider the impact that my business has on the environment. Therefore, any leaflets that I get printed and all the materials that I use in clinic are organic or sustainably sourced, where possible.
