Mr. Guang Ping Tai graduated from the Army Medical College in China with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He began his clinical career in 1991, working first as a registrar and later as a consultant at Southwest Hospital and Shaping District TCM Hospital. With more than 30 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Since 2007, Mr. Tai has been dedicated to innovative clinical practice using Chinese medicine to treat a wide range of conditions, including acne, sinusitis, acute and chronic arthritis, shoulder and back pain, stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia, infertility, menstrual disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, and recurrent IBS and constipation.

Mr. Tai currently runs his own TCM clinic in Edinburgh, where he provides personalised treatments tailored to each patient’s needs, including acupuncture, cupping therapy, and customised herbal remedies. He is highly experienced in herbal medicine and acupuncture, particularly in treating skin conditions such as eczema and acne, as well as supporting women through menopausal symptoms. He also offers specialised treatments for insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, shoulder and back pain, sinusitis, and stress-related conditions. His integrative approach combines herbal medicine, acupuncture, and Tuina techniques to promote natural healing and restore balance in the body.
