Training
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Accreditation Board (UK) was established in 2004. There are mainly two purposes for the establishment of TCMAB:
• to ensure that affiliated colleges deliver TCM education and training in the UK that meet the requirement of China’s State Administration for Traditional Chinese medicine training standards
• to facilitate the discussion of acupuncture, herbal medicine and traditional Chinese medicine conducted by the Department of Health in the UK.
TCMAB is an independent organisation to accredit institutes running traditional Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine courses.
