Education: 1992, Tianjin College of TCM, Master degree of Medicine (TCM paediatrics), China; 2011-12 ‘Clinical Research’ at the University of Manchester, UK;

Work experiences: 1992-99 at the Tianjin College of TCM 1st Teaching Hospital, worked as a paediatrician, participated a programme, which an anti-epileptics formula was rewarded as a new herbal medication by China FDA and was included in China National Formulary: 2000 to present, practise TCM in the Midlands in the UK, with an specific interests in dermatology, chronic primary pain managements and immune disorders, tried to bridge TCM with NHS medical cares; 2008-14, worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Lincoln and the College of Lincoln, studied and observed a very wide range of medical conditions managed by acupuncture independently or combined with these NHS cares, in addition, studied physio-pathological mechanism of acupoints with specific interests in cell communications, and regarded as a knowledgeable and approachable personality; 2001 joined the ATCM and being the editor of The Journal of ATCM since 2003;

Other qualifications: IELTS 7.5 (2016, listening 7; reading7.5; writing7.5 and speaking7.5); General Medical Council (GMC):  PLAB 1 (passed in 2017);

Publications: over 20 academic papers and co-authored for 2 academic books.
